We may send product news, offers or business communications where you have consented or where the communication is otherwise permitted by law. Business outreach may use relevant work contact information obtained from public sources or business-information providers.

Marketing communications will identify the sender and provide a way to unsubscribe. You may unsubscribe using the link or instructions in the message or by contacting us. We will action unsubscribe requests within the period required by law.

We may retain limited suppression information, such as an email address and opt-out status, so that we can continue to respect an unsubscribe request.

Protecting Information We Hold

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please contact us promptly if you believe your account or personal information has been misused.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably required for orders, support, warranties, tax and accounting obligations, fraud prevention, disputes and legal compliance. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it where appropriate.

We may need to verify your identity before providing access or making a correction. We generally do not charge for making a request, although reasonable administrative costs may apply where permitted by law.

Access may be refused or limited where permitted by law. If that occurs, we will explain the reason and available complaint options unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

11. Privacy Questions and Complaints

How to Raise a Privacy Concern

Contact us through the Contact Us page or call 1300 772 568. Clearly state that your enquiry is about privacy and provide details of the issue.

We will acknowledge and investigate the matter and aim to provide a response within a reasonable period, generally within 30 days.

This website is intended for customers who can lawfully enter into a purchase. We do not knowingly seek detailed personal information directly from children. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission.

13. Automated Tools and Decisions

Fraud Screening and Payment Decisions

Payment, fraud-prevention, advertising and ecommerce providers may use automated systems in providing their services. For example, a payment provider may automatically approve, decline or refer a transaction for review using transaction, account, device or risk information.

Au Remedial does not ordinarily use a solely automated process to make a decision that significantly affects a customer’s legal rights or access to an essential service. We will update this policy if our practices materially change.

14. Changes to This Policy

Keeping the Policy Current

We may update this policy when our business practices, service providers or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will apply from the date they are published unless otherwise stated.
